March Break Parent & Kid Workshop: March 19

Looking for a fun, hands-on creative activity to share with your child over March break?
Join me for a relaxed parent & kid pottery workshop, where you’ll work side by side to sculpt and decorate your own ceramic dinosaur pinch pot.

This workshop is designed to be playful, welcoming, and accessible for beginners—no prior pottery experience needed.

What You’ll Make

Together, you and your child will:

Hand-build a dinosaur-shaped pinch pot from clay

Add details and personality to your creature

Paint your piece with colourful underglazes

After the workshop, I’ll take care of drying, glazing, and firing your piece in my studio.

Date: Thursday, March 19

Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Location: Mahone Bay Centre, Paul & Susan Seltzer Community Kitchen

Ages: 6+ (child must attend with a parent or guardian)

What’s Included

All clay and materials

Use of tools and underglazes

Glazing and kiln firing

One finished ceramic piece per ticket

(Per parent & child pair)

Pick-Up Info

Finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 4-6 weeks after the workshop. You’ll receive an email once your pottery is ready.

Each ticket covers one adult and one child working together

Space is limited to 20 participants to keep the workshop cozy and hands-on
